The album “Crime and Punishment” by Regional Justice Center. The paragon of hardcore punk rock brutality. Love it.

I’m a little ashamed that it took me so many decades to appreciate that Bad Brains is one of the all-time best punk bands.

A classic favorite: to the lighthoUSe
I read this in graduate school for a “bookshop” and it’s stayed with me ever since. This was actually the first Woolf I ever read. The middle section — “Time Passes” — is one of my favorite in all of literature.
